I Wish Christmas was Today

With Christmas so close, how could you not post this comedic brilliance? Best part? regardless of weirdly shaped guitar, keyboard held by Chris Kattan, or Jimmy Fallon clearly looking down at his note sheet, it was Tracy Morgan, dancing, and not saying a word. So elegant, yet so powerful

Thank God She's Wearing a Seatbelt

So I'll let the video speak for itself, because its awesome in its own right.

But my question is more about how they phrased doing this? Like "Listen, we want you to ride around in our CTS-V Coupe, and we need you to wear alot of cleavage, I mean alot of cleavage.. Those sweater puppies are huge. And don't mind the cameras that are right there either."

My favorite is at like the 1:12 mark, she adjusts her seatbelt and hair, looks down, "yup my boobs look good" then went back to normal. Big boobs and fast cars? Cool stuff indeed

Men's College Cup

Checkout this year's College Cup between the Carolina Tar-Heels and Charlotte 49ner's.

The game winner is just a stunner! Pretty impressive stuff that there are still quality soccer players still in the college ranks. Sooner or later, most of the guys this good are going to be gobbled up by some youth system whether its in Europe or here for a MLS team at 15 or 16, but today is not that day.

Best commentary of the highlights is "doing his best Leo Messi impression." When they zoom in the second time they show his run, it looks EXACTLY like a Leo Messi type run

Battleships

Out May 18th, 2012 Battleship is about "A fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals."

Looks kind of ridiculous, but then again Liam Neeson aka Qui-Gon Jinn is in this movie as well as Brooklyn Decker. So it can't be all that bad.

America Samoa World Cup Qualifying

American Samoa players celebrate after a historic a 2-1 win over Tonga in Oceania World Cup qualifying in November.
This nice little piece over at ESPN/Soccernet (<--Click)  talks about the run of America Samoa, who have been dead last in the FIFA rankings for some time now. Pretty cool stuff that Thomas Rongen, the US U-20 national team coach, lent a hand to help them out.

Reading through this article, I came across this:

""Walking in the first day for the first meeting," he said, "there's literally a very good-looking what I thought female walking into the room. And I thought she must be a team administrator, or a massage therapist. And I actually said to her, 'What's your position?' And she said 'center back.'I came to find out that it was a fa'afafine, a third-sex transgendered, who became one of our more important players. So that was an interesting cultural thing, totally accepted in this culture --dress every day as a woman, date men, but play sports with other males -- and probably became our best defender. So those things are pretty amazing, quite frankly.""

Why haven't we heard more about these fa'afafine?! This is ridiculous if you ask me.  The fact that FIFA, who has been super stringent on the most absurd issues allows a third-sex transgendered person play, is different to say the least.  But hey, when you're dead last in FIFA world rankings and have about 60,000 people in your nation, I guess you can let fa'afafine play for you any day of the week

Finals Are Coming

Like all college kids, the next few weeks are dedicated to finals. The library is packed. Studying every night. You're ready to pull your hair out. Luckily you're sitting next to a hot blonde, so that isn't so bad.
So to all my fellow students, best of luck with whatever finals you have and not to worry, there is light at the end of the tunnel: WINTER BREAK!

John Carter- Movie Trailer

This movie looks like it's a cross between the new Conan the Barbarian and Avatar, not the airbender, but the blue kind. Either way, it can't be a terrible movie if it's made by the one and only Disney. Right?

Not Cool Stuff: People think Muppets are are part of "brainwashing" your kids

Do yourself a favor and click on this link to check out a segment from Fox News about the new movie currently out in theaters called The Muppets.
Goodness gracious Fox!  I'm not one to jump into politics, but the Muppets are an American institution, not part of some secret liberal agenda. Anyways, I need to see The Muppets, with Jason Segel from How I Met Your Mother.  He's on a roll.
Sidenote: Not one person will allow anyone else finish their own sentences in this video.  Not cool stuff at all

How Beer Saved The World Part 3

Here's How Beer Saved the World Part III. Maybe I'll make a weekly "I'll Have a homebrew" post or something along those lines, pertaining to the coolness that is all things beer.

Anyways, besides the fact that this Discovery show is all about beer, but it's about beer pertaining to history, and I've always found history to be an interesting subject. So drink up and enjoy!
