Chili Chili Peppers Still Rocking

While no one is denying that the internet has changed the music industry, for some ways I think it's been for the better. For instance, bands like OK GO are being ridiculously creative with their videos, and its garnered them attention.
Not only are the RHCP getting into the creative music video theme, they killed it. Unbelievably cool that you can pan through different rooms during the video.

Abraham Lincoln- Vampire Hunter

This is the new trailer for "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter" Honestly I'm not a huge fan of his movies and style of film making, but you take one of America's greatest heroes and put him in a situation murdering vampires? Its like Cowboys and Aliens, terrible movie, but its cowboys vs aliens, of course a guy like me is going to see these types of movies.

Frank Turner - If Ever I Stray

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Here's a song by an English fellow named Frank Turner. It's off his album "England Keep My Bones" which was released on August 29th 2011. He's clearly a fan of being English. But in all seriousness this is the type of song that's been stuck in my head all day because it's unbelievably catchy and forces you to sing along. So I hope it does the same to you

Video of the Dat:OK Go - Needing/Getting

The new music video from OK Go, made in partnership with Chevrolet. OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they'd play the right note no matter where they were struck.

For comparison, here's the actual song, not shot with any cars or ridiculousness, pretty accurate all things considered

Everton Fan Practicing Hancuffing Himself

*Language not safe for work

So at the close of last month, an Everton fan handcuffed himself to the goalpost. Here we have the villain practicing his dastardly deed. Its a parody of the whole situation, and I got a good chuckle out of it. Enjoy

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra) - official video

Here's a little music to get the middle of your day going well, the music video is kinda weird, but its a damn good song, been stuck in my head all week. Check out some of their other songs like "Easy Way Out" happy Thursday everybody!
Sidenote: The chick sounds ridiculously similar to Katy Perry, and I love me some Katy Perry
